ISWI 2017

Dear students,

We cordially invite you to apply for the 13th ‘International Student Week in Ilmenau – ISWI 2017‘ – Europe’s 2nd largest student conference of its kind, by the 11th of November 2016.

The conference will be held from the 12th to the 21st of May 2017 at the Technische Universität Ilmenau in Ilmenau, Germany, and is dedicated to the topic of ‘Global Justice’ with the motto “Global Justice – A Fair(y) Tale?”. The conference language will be English.

Once again, we expect around 400 students from all over the world to meet in Ilmenau, exchange their opinions, share ideas and gain new experiences during 10 days of group work, workshops, discussions, lectures and cultural events. For further information, simply visit our social media pages and our new website 2017.iswi.org.

If you are interested and will remain a student at that time, you can apply by the 11th of November 2016 by registering at apply.iswi.org. There, simply choose a group you would like to join and submit a short essay about Global Justice and one about your chosen group topic. If accepted, you will receive an official invitation. During your stay, you will be provided with food and accommodation (through a host system), and all ISWI events will be free of charge. So you will only have to cover your visa and travel expenses.

For further information about the conference, and for questions and hints, please visit our website https://2017.iswi.org/participate/faq/ or contact us directly via info@iswi.org.

We look forward to your applications.

Yours sincerely,
the ISWI 2017 Organising Committee
