Japanese Evening

P_1494_religionLast Monday (31st of January 2017) there was the „Japanese Evening“ (project: „Intercultural Evening“). Beginning at 8 p.m. people could get three courses for dinner: nikujaga (meat stew), okonomiyaki (pancake) and chirashi sushi. With some variations (with meat, vegetarian, vegan) we‘d like to suit all the different tastes. At about 9:15 p.m. Takehiro could start his presentation with some general facts about politics, geographic and so forth. After this he got a little bit more into detail with the social constrains and culture, slightly using the Osaka sense of humor. In the end we could listen to his impressive performance of Japanese karaoke.

Many thanks to Takehiro and Sayako and all who worked in the background to make this great evening happen.
