Columbian Night February 2014

After a successful Mexican evening for international students organized jointly by ISWI and we4you at the start of the year, it was time for the Columbians to show their might and give the students a glimpse of what their country had to offer. They began with a short presentation of their country, highlighting important cities, regions and their age old traditions. The most awaited part of the evening however was the Columbian food that was prepared by students native to this part of the world. The menu included beans, rice, ground beef, some special hogao sauce made from tomatoes and onions, Arepa (corn cracker), Patacón (deep fried banana) and eggs. The evening was carried forward with some traditional Latin American songs that lured people to the dance floor. All in all it was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening.
