3 Months at a Girls’ School in Kenya
Within the scope of a semester’s work experience, Nancy worked for 3 months at a Kenyan Girls’ School and got to know the country and its people a little better – the obligatory safari tour included. Besides giving some impressions of Kenyan nature and culture, her presentation will also address the following topics:
- How does everyday life at a Kenyan girls’ school look like and what is the general situation of women in Kenya like?
- How do the Kenyan people produce clear drinking water and what significance does the belief in spirits in the coastal region of Kenya have?
- What was Michael Jackson’s role in Nancy’s almost being arrested?
If you would like to know the answers to these questions, just visit the ‘Fernweh’ (wanderlust) presentation. 😉 The presentation will be held in German.
