Data Privacy Declaration for Registration to Training ‘Dialogue in Society’

The following describes shortly the collection and processing of your data by the organisers when you register for the training ‘Dialogue in Society’. No worries, Data Privacy Declarations are generally something good and not too long.
As a base for the collection of data is our legitimate interest according to article 6, nr. 1 f). We need the data in order to record the number of participants in the training so as to plan the training, comply to our hygiene concept, have a diverse group of participants and for communication with you.

We collect:

Apart from the data, that the limesurvey platform of Studierendenrat der Technischen Universität Ilmenau collects, we collect the following data:

name, gender, age, current occupation, e-mail, telephone/mobile phone number, your motivation to the training, your previous experience with dialogue, and whether you like to receive further information and want to be part of the team.

Way of data collection:

The data that is collected by your visit on the survey page of Studierendenrat der Technischen Universität Ilmenau is fully automated. For more details see their data privacy declaration.
Furthermore, we only collect personal data when you enter it on our webpage.

Use of your data:

– for communication with you
– for recording the total number of expected participants in the training
– for selecting a diverse group of participants

You have several rights according to the General Data Privacy Regulation of the EU:

– Right of access (art. 15 GDPR) and to get to know which of your data we store
– Right to rectification (art. 16 GDPR) of your data that we store.
– Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) (art. 17 GDPR) of your data that we store.
